Inventory Accounting Clerk
Qualifications / Experience
Day-to-day responsibilities will include updating the cattle database and appropriate general ledgers, allocating costs and creating invoices to bill the appropriate dairies, updating inventory records and assisting in reconciling to physical cattle counts and accounting for changes in inventory. Daily interactions could potentially include owners, vendors, controllers and accountants.
Key Responsibilities:
Track monthly cattle movement, purchases, sales, transfers etc. and assist dairy managers to resolve discrepancies
Assist controllers in the preparation of internal and external financial packages via
-Preparation of journal entries
-Reconciliation of inventory accounts
-Reconciliation of sales and cost of sales accounts
Opportunity to participate in future process improvement initiatives throughout the business
Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance with 2+years of accounting experience with working knowledge of inventory management.
