The Director of Finance is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the overseeing and directing of financial goals, objectives and budgets, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.

Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance, Purchasing, and Human Resources functions of the organization.
  • Manage financial controls and accounting procedures.
  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive team.
  • Analyze cash flow, cost controls and expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and local, state and federal regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.

The main duties of this position will be serving as assistant controller for three dairy operations, a feedlot operation, a small farming company, and will include involvement in a real estate holdings company. Our office consists of other team members in this role and would report to the current controller for the operations listed above.

        • Monthly financial statement preparation of the three dairy operations and 1 feedlot including account analysis and reconciliation
