Financial Analyst
Qualifications / Experience
The Financial Analyst will assist the Corporate Controller in the preparation of the monthly financial statements and the supporting documentation required for analysis of the monthly results. Provide support to Plant Management for operational analyses and understanding the financial results.
Analyze month-end financial statements, including the preparation of standard schedules used in analyzing the monthly financial activity
Prepare and explain monthly financial information for plant management
Troubleshoot and assist in updating inventory standards
Assist in annual budgeting process
Prepare a portion of the recurring monthly general ledger journal entries
Support the compilation of month-end inventory and investigate material cycle counts
Review drill downs of general ledger accounts and account reconciliations
Backup for preparation of month-end inventory materials
Assist in coordination of year-end audit by outside accountants
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
Attention to detail, yet ability to look at the big picture
Team-oriented approach to tasks
Computer proficiency, preferably Microsoft office products and Epicor
General knowledge of manufacturing
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with 3+ years of experience in public accounting working with manufacturing clients.
