Qualifications / Experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participates on cross functional teams and acts as the primary finance liaison for several functional areas of the organization (HR, IT, Marketing & Sales)
  • Responsible for developing analyses and driving projects that improve the overall financial performance of the organization
  • Performs financial analyses including but not limited to: Pricing, customer profitability, Sales & Gross Profit & Operating Expenses
  • Participates on due diligence teams evaluating potential acquisition targets
  • Develops monthly and quarterly financial review decks for senior management
  • Assist in the development of an annual budget and quarterly forecasts
  • Assists in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including the consolidation of foreign subsidiaries
  • Assist in the monthly accounting close with the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations and associated analysis
  • Other ad hoc analysis & duties as requested by management

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • BS/BA in Finance or Accounting. CPA a plus.
  • Candidate will be self-motivated and able to execute independently with the ability to demonstrate sound judgment and resourcefulness in decision making and problem solving
  • Candidate will think independently and be talented at developing new processes and identifying areas for process improvement as well as be able to tactfully present these ideas to stakeholders
  • An articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization including the Global Leadership Team members and Business Managers.
  • Excellent computer skills, e.g. Excel, Power Point, Outlook
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities while working with a sense of urgency
  • Effective Communication Skills (Written & Verbal) with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels of the organization
  • 3-5 years professional finance/accounting experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX, Atlas & Management Reporter
  • Ability to design and develop financial reporting and associated analysis using BI and ERP software
  • International experience preferred

Salary plus 4.5 to 5% Bonus
